Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use Obbo's website, application, and content services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us to create and manage content: company details, website addresses, approved sources, prompts, descriptions, story and art directions, photographs, logos, documents, and other material you submit. We also store the content generated from those inputs.
We collect account information when you create an account: your email address and, if you sign in through another provider, the basic profile information that provider returns.
We collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and how you use the service. If you use a customer chatbot, we process questions, answers, and any contact or customer information supplied through the features you enable.
Where you make a purchase or order a physical item, we collect payment and delivery information as described in Sections 4 and 5.
You may enter sensitive information about yourself or others. We do not ask for it as part of content creation, and you provide it at your own risk.
3. Photographs and Other Material You Upload
You can upload photographs, logos, brand assets, and source documents to guide your content. Uploaded material is stored on Amazon Web Services in the United States; it is not held only in your browser.
Material submitted while preparing content may be stored with the draft, Content Center, or finished content so you can edit it, reuse approved sources, and keep later work consistent.
You represent that you own the material you upload, or otherwise hold every right and permission needed to upload it and to have us use it as described here. That includes the permission of any identifiable person in a photograph, and the permission of a parent or guardian where that person is a child.
For material you upload, you grant Obbo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, process, adapt, and display it for the purpose you submitted it for: producing, editing, storing, and delivering the content you asked us to make, and operating, securing, and supporting the service. Where printing is offered, this includes printing and delivering your order. That license extends to the cloud hosting, AI, and other providers we use, to the extent they need it to do that work.
We do not sell material you upload. We do not use photographs of identifiable people, or content made from them, in our own marketing without asking you first.
The license lasts as long as we hold the material. Deleting the material or your account ends it for future use, except for copies held in backups, logs, and records we are required to keep, and except where the material has already been incorporated into content that has been delivered, published, printed, or shared.
If you no longer hold the rights to something you uploaded, or a rights holder tells us you never did, email hello@obbo.me and we will remove it. We may remove or decline uploaded material at any time.
4. Payment Information
Payments are handled by our payment providers. Your card number is entered with the provider and is not stored by us. We keep purchase and subscription records, including what you bought, what it cost, when, and the payment details our provider returns, so we can support purchases and keep proper accounts.
5. Physical Orders and Delivery Addresses
Where a physical item is offered, we collect the recipient's name, street address, city, state or region, postal code, country, contact information needed for delivery, and what was ordered.
We use this to fulfil, post, and keep a record of the order. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list.
We share it only with the printing, packing, postal, payment, and other providers needed to complete the order, and only the parts they need. We may also disclose it where the law requires.
We keep order information while an order is outstanding and afterwards for accounting, tax, and dispute records. After that we delete it or reduce it to a record that no longer identifies you.
Access is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders, and it is transmitted over encrypted connections. Physical orders should be placed by an adult.
To see, correct, or delete an address, email hello@obbo.me. We may need to keep it until an order already in progress has been delivered.
6. How We Use Information
We use your information to create the content you request, operate and maintain your Content Centers and chatbots, secure and improve the service, fulfil and support purchases, communicate with you, and prevent misuse.
7. AI Processing and Third Parties
Obbo uses artificial intelligence to help create podcasts, comics, visuals, and chatbot answers. Your inputs, approved sources, and uploaded material may be sent to third-party AI providers so they can perform that work. Cloud hosting, authentication, payment, analytics, and, where applicable, printing providers also process the information needed for their part of the service. Providers may change.
8. Data Retention
We keep your content and the material it was made from while your account exists so you can return to it. We keep other data as long as necessary for business operations, including backups and logs, and records we are required to retain.
9. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data where required by law, including under the GDPR and CCPA. Email hello@obbo.me. Data export may not be available in every format.
10. Data Storage
Data is stored and processed in the United States. By using the service you consent to that processing.
11. Communications
We send service-related messages about your account, content, and purchases. We may send occasional service announcements. You may opt out of optional notifications in your account settings; necessary messages about purchases or account security may still be sent.
12. Children
The service is not intended for users under 13, and accounts must be held by someone at least 13 years old. The person submitting material about a child must hold the permissions described in Section 3. Physical orders must be placed by an adult.
13. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access limited to staff who need it, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
14. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use browser storage and similar technologies to support sign-in, preferences, and work in progress. We may load resources from third-party services, such as fonts or analytics, which receive limited technical information such as your IP address as part of a standard web request.
If we introduce advertising or additional tracking technologies, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
15. Updates
We may update this policy. Where a change is significant we will say so on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Terms of Service
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service and at least 18 to place an order for a physical item.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for your account and for everything done under it. If you provide customer information to a chatbot, you are responsible for having the authority and permissions needed to do so.
3. What You Pay For
Obbo offers content services, credit packs, and subscriptions. Prices, included features, and credit costs are shown in the relevant purchase or generation flow. Do not assume that creating or generating content is free; review the cost before confirming.
4. Payments and Cancellation
The payment, renewal, and cancellation terms shown when you purchase apply to that purchase. For questions about a payment, cancellation, or an item that was not delivered as expected, contact hello@obbo.me. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
5. Delivery
Generated content is made available through the service. Where a physical item is offered, its delivery options and estimates are shown with that offer. Delivery estimates depend on the providers involved.
6. AI Content Disclaimer
Content and chatbot answers are generated with artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or fictional. Images may resemble but will not exactly reproduce the people, products, or places in your sources. The same inputs can produce different results each time.
Generated dialogue and scenes are not evidence of what a real person said or did. Nothing produced here should be relied on as medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing content before using or publishing it.
7. Content Rights
You may use generated content commercially. We do not guarantee that generated text, images, audio, or other outputs are exclusive to you or eligible for copyright protection.
You remain responsible for the rights and permissions in everything you upload. The license you grant us for uploaded material is described in Section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service to:
- Depict an identifiable person without their permission, or a child without the permission of a parent or guardian.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or sexualise anyone, or depict a real person in a way that would humiliate or endanger them.
- Impersonate a person or organisation, mislead customers, or present generated scenes or dialogue as a genuine record.
- Infringe intellectual property, including copyrighted characters and trademarks.
- Produce illegal content, content sexualising a minor, or content that promotes harm.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent the system.
We may decline requests, remove content, refuse physical orders, and suspend or terminate access for misuse.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Obbo Computing Technologies, LLC from claims arising from your use of the service, material you uploaded, or your violation of these terms.
10. Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for third-party services used to provide functionality, including payment, AI, printing, and delivery providers.
11. Disclaimer
The service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Obbo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the service in question, except where the law requires otherwise.
13. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration. You waive the right to participate in class actions.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, USA.
